A white, clean environment is pleasing to be in. I personally like how wood adds the extra homey touch to the place. Fine details on wood planks with potted plants and furry decos are my kryptonite. The idea of having this plank shelf hanging from the ceiling by white metal rods aren't bad, but would have been better if they used rope instead. But I suppose they didn't want the hassle of cleaning off dust.
