This artist was inspired by the meaning of childhood when this art piece was created. From what I understand, we all grow from a child to and adult and over time as adults, we forget what it was to be a child. Colours are not something that intrigues us anymore, they just exist. Why is it that we were so amused by colourful toys when we were children but not when we are adults. And hence the artist gave all these toys a bland tone, shun a spotlight to cast the shadows of it, sparking the curiosity of viewers to ponder on the silhouette of the items.
