This design of the chicken reminded me of how a company works. Every person has their own role and even if it's just a small role, without it, a part of the whole thing would just collapse. Just like this structure. Imagine maybe a 'paper block' was missing from the chicken thigh, the whole thing would just fall to pieces. This probable wasn't intented to represent that, but rather more on texture. I just suddenly though of it that way.
